Henry Winkler and Lin Oliver visit JTD students

By Jessica Scott
On Thursday, December 2, authors Lin Oliver and Henry Winkler (yes--THAT Henry Winkler!) visited Upper School students over Zoom.
While Winkler is most well known for his acting role in the show Happy Days and his show Barry, currently on HBO, many are surprised to learn that he has an extensive background as a screenwriter and author! Both Oliver and Winkler have written for TV and movies and together they have written 37 books!

During their visit with JTD students, the co-authors took the time to share about their backgrounds including their beginnings in Hollywood, and their writing process. They specifically talked about writing the Hank Zipzer series along with Alien Superstar, their most recent trilogy. They were even able to answer a few student questions at the end of their virtual visit.

We are so grateful to have had them share their experiences with our JTD students!
